Appointments

While we have always accepted walk-in patients, we are now offering appointments to avoid a lengthy wait. (Exceptions will be made in the case of emergencies.) Pets must be in a carrier or on a leash for everyone's protection. If you need to borrow a leash or carrier, just let us know.

If this will be your first visit, we kindly request that you fax, mail, or email your pet's medical records to our office in advance, so that our veterinarians may review them prior to your appointment. We also have a new client form that you may download and fill out prior to your visit.

Our introductory appointments typically last 30 minutes. This enables our veterinarians to conduct a thorough exam of your canine or feline as well as learn more about you, your pet, and your family's lifestyle. These details will allow us to provide veterinary care that is specifically tailored to your pet's individual needs.

Payment & Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to make your appointment, please notify us 24 hours in advance. This way we can assist other pet patients.

Payment is due when services are rendered. We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, checks, cash payments, and CareCredit®. We also are happy to assist with pet insurance claims, trupanion.com.

Pet Pharmacy

North Wake Animal Hospital has a full-service pharmacy on-site. In addition, we have a call ahead pharmacy for your convenience.  The pharmacy carries an array of pet medications at competitive prices, as well as prescription diets. Our staff reviews all prescriptions prior to being filled to ensure they are safe for your pet. Refills may be obtained by calling our 24/7 refill hotline at 919.556.1121 option 2 and, once approved, these are typically ready for pick up within one business day.
